There are three main ways to use essential oils:
- Topical: Apply directly to the affected area. You can also rub the oils on the bottom of your feet, as this is one of the fastest ways to get oils into every part of your body thanks to all the nerve endings in your feet! Follow label directions on each oil as some oils should be diluted with coconut olive oil first.
- Diffuse: Use a cold diffuser (nothing that involves heating the oils) to purify the air, add oxygen to your system, and support your mood.
- Internal: Because of their purity, Young Living brand essential oils are the only ones that can be taken internally. Follow individual instructions for taking internally. Add a drop to hot water for “tea,” add drops to an empty capsule and swallow, or put a drop in agave nectar or honey and swallow. Learn more
