This is my go-to each evening before bed— I dab a bit on my face, especially around my eyes. It’s also an extra-special treat for your toes and hands when they need some extra moisturizing!
Place the following ingredients in a clean glass jar:
- 1/2 oz. beeswax
- 4 1/2 oz. coconut oil
Place jar in a pan of simmering water. Leave on medium heat until ingredients in the jar are melted together.
Add after melted & cooled until almost solidifying:
- Oil from 12 Vitamin E soft gels (or 1/2 tsp. Vitamin E oil)
- 20 drops Young Living Frankincense essential oil
- 10-20 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil
Pour into very clean glass jars or tins and allow to cool and harden. Store unused jars in the refrigerator for extended shelf life.
Use within 12 months.
Baby Balm
This is also a great recipe to use for making baby bottom balm. If making for infants, just use 8-10 drops of essential oil such as frankincense, lavender, or copaiba.
P.S. If you don’t have time to make a facial moisturizer or if you want to also brighten your skin with the benefits of many healthful essential oils, you should try the Sheerlumé™ Brightening Cream from Young Living. A tiny dab is all you need each morning to visibly brighten and balance your skin tone!
