Recently when I was home in Colorado I got to meet a new member of our family… my brother’s dog, Aspen! She is a rambunctious young dog and had recently been to the vet for an ear infection. After I heard that my brother had spent $300 for vet bills and medicine I decided to make the following blend for him.
Combine in a glass bottle:
- ½ cup almond or grapeseed oil
- 8 drops Melaleuca (alternifolia) essential oil
- 8 drops Lavender essential oil
- 8 drops Purification™ essential oil blend
If he uses this blend to clean Aspen’s ears regularly, she should keep happy ears!
Note: before using the oil in your dog’s ear, let the dog smell the oil on your hands so that they will not be surprised by the scent.
