As you might have heard, Young Living has released a new product — Valor® Roll-On! Now you might be wondering, “how do I get this bottle of goodness into me?” Wonder no longer! We are here to tell you about a few ways to use Valor® Roll-On that you might not have heard of.
If you don’t know what Valor® Roll-On is, it is simply Valor essential oil blend put into a convenient 10 ml roll-on bottle for easy application. If you don’t know much about Valor, click here. A quick application tip: Valor® Roll-On does not need to be diluted before applying as it contains a carrier oil already (coconut oil).
1. Massage on Spine
Life can be so stressful at times. Any number of calamities could happen at any given moment. I mean, your phone battery might die, the air conditioner might decide to take a vacation, or you might spill spaghetti sauce on your brand new shirt! I jest.
Stress takes many different forms and looks different for each person. However, I have found that many people manifest stress in a physical way, particularly in their backs. People who are not outwardly emotional commonly a lot of stress in their backs. Now, this is not hard science, but merely an observation, seeing as I am one of those not emotional people.
This is where Valor® Roll-On comes in. Applying it to the spine, maybe even along with a nice back massage, may help to relieve some stress. It may even give you a little boost to help you stay on track and not get bogged down by the stresses of life.
2. Beard Oil
The earthy, woodsy aroma of Valor® makes it perfect to use as a beard oil. The aromas of Black Spruce and Camphor wood give this oil a very masculine smell, making it a great substitute for synthetic fragrances and colognes. Simply roll a little bit of the oil into your palms and massage into your beard.
3. Brainstem, Temples, and the Big Toe
Are you having a bad day? Despairing of life? Need a little brain energy? Roll some Valor® on your brainstem, temples (take care not to get it into your eyes…that will give you a totally different kind of energy…), and on the underside of your big toe.
“Why the big toe,” you ask? “My big toe is not the cause of all my problems, Nirel.” I know, but the nerve pathways from your toe travel directly to your brain. Additionally, the pores on the soles of the feet are the largest. Therefore, to maximize absorption, applying on the bottom of the big toe is your best option. See, I’m not completely crazy.
4. Hand Massage
Speaking from experience, a good hand massage is probably one of the most relaxing things ever. Unfortunately, I do not have my own personal masseuse, and you probably don’t either. Unlike a back massage, however a hand massage is something you can do on yourself! Granted, it is never as pleasant as having someone else give you a massage, but, hey, beggars can’t be choosers, right?
This is how to give yourself a good hand massage. Simply roll a little Valor® onto the hand being massaged (bet you didn’t see that coming). Using your other hand, work the oil into the muscles using circular motions. Pay special attention to the muscle connecting the thumb to the wrist and don’t forget to massage your wrists.
5. Pre-Workout Ankle Rub
Finally, a number of people have told me that they like to roll a little bit of Valor® around their ankles before playing sports. This is especially effective for any sports thatlike basketball, volleyball, or even running. For all you aspiring Michael Jordans out there, you’re welcome. I just might have changed your life.
Hopefully, these tips have been useful for you. If you have any other ways you like to use Valor® Roll-On, please let us know. We love to learn new things! Now I’m going to go find someone to give me a back massage with Valor® Roll-On. Boy, does writing stress me out.
